Ordinary Branch traditional with profits policy.
  • Endowment
  • Whole of Life
  • Retirement Annuity
  • Your policy has a basic sum assured (or, for retirement annuity policies, a basic annuity).
  • You pay premiums monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly or may have paid a single premium.

Ordinary Branch Unitised With Profits. Your policy will be called either:
  • Capital Builder
  • Easybuild Mortgage Endowment
  • Lowstart Mortgage Endowment
  • Personal Pension Plan
  • Pension Plus (Free-Standing AVC Plan)
  • Portfolio Investment Bond
  • Britannic Portfolio With Profits Bond (purchased through an Independent Financial Adviser)
  • With Profits ISA

 

Type of Policy How Can I Tell?
With Profits Annuity.
  • Your policy provides you with a regular income.
  • The amount of income is reviewed each year.

 

Type of Policy How Can I Tell?
Britannic Assurance plc With Profits Bond.
  • Your policy is called the 'Britannic Assurance plc With Profits Bond.'
  • The policy was taken out since 21 January 2002.

 

Policy formerly with Century Life

Type of Policy How Can I Tell?
Former Century Life. Policy with either:
  • National Employers Life
  • Sentinel Life
  • Prosperity Life
prior to transfer to Century
