policies were included in the change? Only some individual
with profits pension policies are included in the change. In September/October
2009 we wrote to all Phoenix & London Assurance Limited with profits policyholders
who were included in the change with full information about the change. Follow
this link to see the information that was sent to policyholders.
Policies
that were included in the change Included policies are any individual
with profits pension policies for which ALL of the following apply:
- the policy or a part of the policy had a guaranteed pension rate (GPR) prior
to 31 December 2009; and
- the stated retirement date in any part of the
policy that had a GPR was on or after 1 January 2020; and
- the policyholder
still had the policy on 31 December 2009 when the change was implemented; and
- the policyholder did not opt out of the change; and
- was
one of the following products:
