Traditional with profits policy
  • Endowment
  • Whole of Life
  • Pension
  • Your policy has a basic sum assured (or, for a pension policy an annuity or cash option)
  • Your pension policy is a Self-Employed Retirement Annuity, Individual Pension Arrangement or Master Policy Arrangement
  • Your policy is a pension endowment arising from the Federated Superannuation Scheme for Universities

  • Your policy provides you with a regular income
  • The amount of income is reviewed each year

  • Your policy is described as a group deferred annuity or group cash policy

Unitised with profits policy You have a with profits policy which has with profits units. You have a unit linked (or unitised) policy where you have chosen a with profits investment option. Your policy is called :
  • With Profit Bond, Select With Profit Bond, With Profit Investment Bond or With Profits.com Bond
  • Corporate Investment Account, Trustee Investment Account or Self Invested Personal Pension Account
  • Flexible Investment Bond, Investors Security Plan or Lifetime
  • Unit Linked Mortgage Solution or Homeowner Plus
  • Personal Pension Plan, Personal Pension Solution, FSAVC Solution, Executive Pension Plan or Group Pension Plan
  • Group Personal Pension Plan, Contracted In Money Purchase Scheme, Group AVC Plan, Universal Group Stakeholder Personal Pension Plan, Company Pension Scheme Group or Individual Account Personal Pension Solution, Executive Investment Account or Tailored or Classic Flexible Trustee Investment Plan
  • Income Withdrawal Plan
  • Phased Retirement Plan

Smoothed Income Fund or Smoothed Growth Fund You have a unit linked (or unitised) policy where you have chosen a Smoothed Income Fund or Smoothed Growth Fund investment option. Your policy is called :
  • Smoothed Investment Bond
  • Flexible Investment Bond
  • Select With Profit Bond or With Profit Investment Bond
